Many Benyar models are inspired by Japanese watches, particularly the Pulsar brand. Not much else is known about the company, except that it regularly releases new timepieces, always at very attractive prices.
Some Standout Models
It’s hard to pinpoint specific standout models for a brand like Benyar, but a few watches do sell significantly better than others. Here are some of them.
Benyar Chronograph
This chronograph comes in several versions, all with the same Chinese quartz movement. The design is relatively solid, featuring a steel case and either a steel or faux-leather strap. The buttons lack a bit of springiness, and you can tell when pressing them that it’s an entry-level watch.
That said, the appearance is quite appealing. It is water-resistant up to 30 meters, and there’s an overall impression of sturdiness when you hold it. Some more well-known manufacturers don’t offer the same level of quality, even at higher price points.
Benyar with 4:30 Date Placement
This isn’t a specific model but rather a distinctive design feature seen on several Benyar watches, giving them an exclusive and luxurious look. It’s a chronograph with several complications, including a date window positioned at 4:30, a placement also found on some Pulsar watches.

Benyar Watch Quality
I must admit I had never heard of this brand before, and given the very low prices, I wasn’t expecting much. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Of course, you won’t find the same quality of steel on the straps as you would with a brand like Bering, and the finishing isn’t as refined, but overall, the construction is solid for watches at this price point.
These are not timepieces that will stand the test of time. You can feel that the buttons and glass aren’t as durable as those on more expensive watches. However, if you take care of them, they’ll last several years without any issues.
On the downside, everything else surrounding the watch is quite modest. I’m referring to the packaging, which is far from what you’d expect from “true” watchmakers.

I had heard of Benyar watches a few months ago, but hadn’t really looked into them. Now that I have, I must admit that the Chinese manufacturer performs quite well. Will these watches last for generations? Probably not. But for the price, they’re well-constructed and aesthetically pleasing. They’re not far off from the quality of an Invicta Pro Diver.
There are some very stylish and masculine designs, elegant yet sporty, perfect for geeks like us. All the cases are made of steel and are water-resistant up to 3 ATM. It’s a pleasant surprise, even though it doesn’t reach the level of more traditional watchmakers or well-established brands that are priced two to three times higher. If you’re looking for a nice watch around €50, Benyar is an excellent choice, especially for the automatic models.
