Cooling and fan control are managed via ASUS Fan Xpert 2+, which also handles the AIO pump and fans.

The Intel Core i7-14700F features 20 physical cores (8 P-Cores with Hyper-Threading and 12 E-Cores without), for a total of 20C/28T. Turbo frequencies reach up to 5.4GHz (5.3GHz P-Cores, 4.2GHz E-Cores), with 28MB L2 and 33MB L3 cache. Base TDP is 65W, with peaks up to 219W under Turbo Max.
Graphics and Wireless
Graphics are handled by a compact NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5070 SHADOW 2X OC with 12GB of VRAM. It features a dual-fan cooling solution, expelling warm air upward through the heatsink and toward the AIO radiator.

For wireless connectivity, it includes an Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 card supporting 2.4Gbps (5GHz) and 300Mbps (2.4GHz) with Bluetooth 5.0.
Storage
A Crucial P310 M.2 2280 SSD (2TB, PCIe 4.0 x4) is installed in the motherboard’s first M.2 slot with a dedicated heatsink, ensuring thermal efficiency even under load.
Environmental & Acoustic Performance
Power Consumption
Thanks to its 80 Plus Gold PSU and efficient 65W base TDP CPU, the system’s power draw ranges between 64W and 386W depending on workload. Compared to similar gaming PCs, its lower energy usage means less cooling is required and improved acoustic comfort.
Noise Levels
With seven fans total (two GPU, two AIO, three case), the PC remains quiet. Measured noise ranges from 36.6 to 45.2 dBA, making it one of the quietest systems in our benchmarks. Manual fan curves via ASUS software can further reduce noise.
Thermals
GPU temps rose from 46°C to 77°C under load. The CPU remained at around 64°C thanks to its conservative TDP. Memory and storage temps stayed in safe zones with no signs of thermal throttling.
Gaming Performance
We benchmarked this PC at 1440p and 2160p with all graphics settings maxed out.
Rasterization

In 1440p, performance remained consistently above 60 fps, ensuring a smooth gaming experience. 1080p saw even higher framerates, while 4K gaming was achievable with a few settings compromises—averaging 38 to 86 fps. Demanding titles like Star Wars Outlaws, Cyberpunk 2077, and Watch Dogs: Legion challenged the system more heavily.
3DMark Fire Strike validated these results with high scores in the rasterization tests.

Ray Tracing
Performance in ray-traced titles was more limited. At 1440p, framerates often struggled to reach 60 fps in recent games, though older titles like Far Cry 6 and Metro Exodus fared better. At 4K, framerates dropped to between 18 and 60 fps depending on the title. Activating DLSS 4 and frame generation becomes essential for smoother gameplay with ray tracing enabled.

Interface & Memory Performance
Both internal and external storage interfaces deliver excellent speeds. An external USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Vision SSD reached nearly 2GB/s in sequential reads. The internal Crucial P310 SSD peaked at 6.7GB/s read and 6.2GB/s write, offering fast OS and game load times.
In 3DMark storage tests, game load speeds exceeded 1GB/s, hitting 3.6GB/s when moving game files, and averaging 259–311MB/s for installs and saves.
The Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 kit achieved 85.3GB/s read and 78GB/s write speeds, with latency just under 80ns.
Overall System Performance
PCMark 10 scores confirmed this build’s solid performance across all usage categories: Essentials, Productivity, and Digital Content Creation. It performed well in web browsing, video conferencing, office tasks, and photo/video editing.
Compared to other CPUs, it’s on par with the Ryzen 7 9700X in Blender and nearly matches the Radeon RTX 4070 SUPER in GPU tasks.
In Handbrake video encoding, it performs between the Ryzen 5 9600X and Ryzen 7 7800X. In x264FHD, it achieved 88 fps—better than the Ryzen 7 9700X (83 fps) and Ryzen 5 9600X (77 fps).
