The wireless Rapoo MT760 comes in two versions: MT760M and MT760L, where the last letter stands for Medium and Large. The model I tested is the Large version. While it’s relatively big, it’s not huge and still fits my average-sized hands fairly well, thanks to the curved top that sits comfortably in the palm.

At first, it feels fine. But the more I use the Rapoo MT760L, the more minor design flaws and construction issues become annoying: sharp edges that dig into your palm and fingers, a scroll wheel without free-spin, side scroll wheels without tactile steps, and thumb buttons placed awkwardly. The overall plastic build feels cheap.

It’s a fairly inexpensive mouse, but not so cheap that I’d expect this level of design oversight. Technically, it performs well: the optical sensor works on most surfaces except glass, offers high precision up to 4,000 DPI, and has a polling rate of up to 1,000 Hz.

Solid Core Functionality

There’s a convenient DPI button that cycles through seven sensitivity levels. Lower DPI settings allow precise pixel-level control on sharp 4K or 5K screens, while higher levels support fast movements for large surfaces or gaming. The main buttons are lightly dampened and quiet, and even the extra side buttons near the thumb are pleasantly silent.

Like most modern mice, it supports multi-device connections. You can pair it with up to three computers or tablets via Bluetooth and switch between them with a button on the underside. RF connection is also possible, but you must toggle to RF mode using a separate switch.

The package includes two USB RF dongles, which is unusual. In theory, you could connect the mouse to up to six RF dongles, but it’s unclear where a US consumer would buy extras. Also, RF doesn’t support instant switching like Bluetooth—you may need to turn off one device to control the other.

Limited Extra Features

With the Rapoo Office Dev software installed, you can fine-tune sensitivity and reassign every mouse button—including left click, which is rare.

However, the options are limited compared to competitors. There are about 20 standard or keyboard command options, but no macros, advanced functions, AI prompts, or similar features.

Rapoo doesn’t disclose the MT760L battery size but claims about one month of normal use between charges. In my two-day test, the battery dropped from 100% to 95%, so that seems reasonable.
