And that dream has now come true, thanks to Lorien, a note-taking and drawing app on an infinite canvas!
Lorien was born from the desire to create a versatile tool for note-taking, sketching, and brainstorming. Don’t imagine software as sophisticated as Krita, Gimp, or Photoshop. Instead of working on classic images, Lorien records your brushstrokes in vector. This application is entirely developed with the Godot game engine and takes up very little space on your hard drive.
In addition to this infinite canvas, Lorien offers almost infinite zoom, as well as a grid for drawing with precision. Other features enrich the user experience, including compatibility with graphics tablets (such as Wacom), pressure sensitivity, and even SVG export. You even get customizable keyboard shortcuts, integrated and customizable color palettes, and a distraction-free mode for those who want to give free rein to their creativity.
Lorien is available in several languages: English, German, Italian, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese… There is something for all tastes and all cultures.
